Favorite Beauty Looks from Milan Fashion Week Part II

There’s so much to love about the Milan collections! Here are some more stand-out beauty looks that include everything from grungy wet looks to sculpted-to-perfections ones.

1. Bottega Veneta: What a fantastic messy, wet-looking hairstyle. I like that it appears so effortless that we’d think that we could do this ourselves in mere seconds…if only!
2. Marni: Consuelo Castiglioni has such a talent for working with color and I love that it’s reflected in her models’ eye look. The pointed orange and white eye is unexpected, but really worked for the runway. The look was created by Tom Pecheux who famously created the orange eye look at the Spring 2011 Derek Lam show.
3. Emilio Pucci: What an aggressive look! The grungy-wet looking, side-parted hair and the heavy eye makeup were the perfect complement to the sexpot collection.
4. Dolce & Gabbana: Redken’s Guido Palau was inspired by Sophia Loren for this hairdo and it shows. So distinctively refined!
5. Jil Sander: Raf Simons is one of my all-time

favorite designers and Guido Palau did his collection justice with this

gorgeous sculpted, almost-helmet like, hairstyle. It’s super oddball,

yet modern and somehow incredibly chic, no?

  1. I really loved the Bottega Venetta show, just wish I could afford it! Another site that reviewed some of the shows is thebeautybean. They offer a good commentary on a lot of different subject matter. It’s a pretty fun website that everyone should check out.
