Charlotte Olympia is on the fast track to becoming my favorite new designer. These bondage boots are insane! In suede wrapped in silk ribbons that knot at the toe, the Emilia ankle boot is a statement shoe with genuine versatility. Black obviously goes with everything, but it has depth and dimension when materials have been mixed so shrewdly. You just can’t go wrong here, no matter what you wear them with (or without!). The ballet dancer’s toe-shoe look evokes that disciplined vibe, but it’s twisted and skewed enough, so no prissy prima ballerina here. These platform booties beg for a catwalk-inspired stomp.
Ultimately, the wrapped and knotted bands of satin make for style in the form of pure art. (They even have a gold optic zipper enhancing the back, complete with Olympia’s trademark spider detail.) The platform pitch is only 4” so you also get relief when walking! What more do you want and need? These are going straight to my closet! At My Theresa for $975.
