Simply gorgeous. Polished and perfect. Dainty and ladylike. I could be describing the ultimate bride – isn’t that what every girl wants to be on her wedding day? But naturally, I’m describing the ultimate satin shoe. Giuseppe Zanotti is showing us a softer side with these immaculate champagne sandals, a pair that can glide miraculously from bridal wear to normal wear (unlike my wedding shoes that have sat untouched in my closet).
Just like planning a picturesque wedding, it’s the tiniest details that make it. And that’s exactly what Zanotti has done with these shoes. The tab detail is sheer perfection, and I love seeing it again on the ankle strap. Pale satin is demure enough; a concise design brings them up to the highest level of sophistication. While they also come in black, the dark counterpart doesn’t have the same subtle tonal variations and the details are lost.
So it’s not made for comfort – who cares? Sexy without being overt, these are for a woman who is in control of her destiny (as well as her feet) and knows how to handle her sex appeal, doling it out as she sees fit – and certainly reserving most of it for the right man! On ShopBop
