Anya Hindmarch “Huxley” Tote: A Vote for a Tassel Tote

You all know how much I love tote bags. I love their simplicity and function, the ease with which I carry one. So here’s another that caught my eye. The Anya Hindmarch “Huxley” fits the bill – it’s simple and roomy. And although I don’t usually like tassels, this stingray-embossed tassel pull at the zipper is not bad. The leather tote features rolled handles, which I do love. But I would never use the detachable canvas strap (unless I was using this as one of my carry-on travel bags, for a serious messenger look). It also sports other goodies, such as metal feet, a pen slot and key hook, and of course, a couple of patch pockets. If I keep finding tote bags I like, pretty soon I’ll be carrying a tote in a tote!
