Oh, NO. Not another knockout white bag to tug at my heartstrings! There is something so impossibly dreamy about a pristine white bag. The problem? Keeping it clean is the other impossible dream. I’ve been loving every minute of my summer-white bags; that is, until the end of every day, when I nervously inspect them for damage.
Some are easier to care for than others. This divine Zagliani in gathered, gleaming python leans towards the tough side. Python has a ridged surface, so it cannot be wiped clean (believe it or not, baby wipes works great for my Nancy Gonzalez white croc, even on blue denim stains!).
But it’s not just the pure color I love. This expansive tote shape also has function in mind, including three interior pockets. Add deep purple lining, and I’m over the moon. A snow-white Zagliani would cause too much anxiety in real life, but it sure is beautiful. I wouldn’t mind waiting until fall, for a less fantastical dirt-absorbing tone. Until then! On Luisa Via Roma for $4,777.
Pair with: Head in the clouds, feet on the ground. Miu Miu’s zebra-print suede brogues are as comfy as they are funky. And welcome to street grime! Fantasy should come with a sense of humor anyway, shouldn’t it? On Net-a-Porter for $490.
LOVE! That bag is gorgeous. But the price? OUCH!
Beautiful!
Oh my goodness this bag is amazing, the lining looks almost as good as the exterior!
