Alexander Wang Caroline Patent Leather Contrast Captoe Slingback Ankle Boots: Work Wear Winner

When I first saw these, I wasn’t sold. I thought they were a little strange, something about the toe was a bit long, and they didn’t leap out and grab me. However, when I took a closer look I realized that these could go with just about every work outfit I own and also would be perfect for summer with the sling back and could be clutch for those with a “closed toe” shoe policy during the warm weather. The Caroline captoe slingbacks by Alexander Wang are versatile and unique. I would wear these to work with some slouchy pants, a cropped blazer and a blouse that would work after hours so you don’t end up wearing all black or black and white and be mistaken for the wait staff (which happens about once a week to me no fail).

These tall beauties will stack you up an extra 5″ on plush patent leather and strap you in with a buckle strap. Seriously though, they would be perfect for the work/happy hour combo because they are classy and appropriate, but still don’t look like your elementary librarians pumps. Win.
