A classic case of a too much of a good thing. I was initially indifferent about the Stella McCartney “Falabella” bag, then I fell in love with the clutch. But this is chain-link trim overload! Now there is a bucket, quilted shoulder, slouchy bucket, metallic cross-body (because Lord knows you need your “Falabella” for evening after carrying one all day!), clutch, and a shopping tote. Nice way to ruin a perfectly decent bag. Maybe Stella and her accessories team are having a final hurrah before retiring the style. I guess they’ve never heard the saying “never be the last one to leave a party.” At this point, I don’t think bag snobs have any other choice but to retire theirs, especially since Canal Street is all over it at this point. “Falabella” fever has made me a little sick. Needless to say, I’m over it!
