Hello again, Kotur! I welcome you back in my life with open arms. Your out-of-this-world summer collection of clutches has me all revved up! I’ve performed the difficult task of narrowing them down to three favorites. Now I just can’t decide which one I want to carry first.
The clutch is where it’s at when I like to get funky and fun. Such beautiful little objects, I have a rainbow array of clutches in a glass cabinet in my bedroom. But most stay tucked away on their shelves waiting for the right outfit.
Kotur’s asymmetric clutch might not even make it into the cabinet before it gets a night out! Paint splotches on asymmetrically seamed leather offer almost as much alluring texture as an exotic (almost!). It also satisfies my craving for interest, while it’s ultimately neutral and easy for whatever I choose to wear, while the bejeweled clasp is the delicious icing on the cake. Leather Asymmetric Clutch at Neiman Marcus for $450.
Fuchsia snakeskin on straw? Click on “add to shopping cart” immediately. The “Lamotte Balinese” clutch has a versatile shoulder chain for when you’re in a pinch, but carrying it clutch is the way to go here. It’s cleaner and leaves the emphasis on what really matters: the awesome mix of unexpected materials and bright versus neutral color scheme. Lamotte Balinese Straw Clutch at Neiman Marcus for $540.
The smooth-shaped woven “Barnett” is pretty much the most amazing little clutch ever. A bejeweled cicada (such a cute conversation-starter) set against bronze straw is uber-chic and sexy-sleek. Barnett Cicada Woven Clutch at Neiman Marcus for $450.
