I am jealous; I want this treehouse. I am even more jealous that I’m not handy enough to make this myself (I would not be able to let my child sleep in it even if I did). This is something right out of the world of Peter Pan and his lost boys – a true wonderland. Juli of The Slow Life sure revved up for this one. She has created the most amazing DIY project (for most of you – just not me) – an indoor treehouse bed! She can go into business with this idea and I’ll pay good, hard-earned cash for it, as long as someone else assembles it. An outdoor treehouse is so fantastical and dreamy, but in reality, it’s just a shack full of spiders. But putting it indoors? Now that’s brilliant, whimsical, and fun! It’s what beautiful childhood memories are made of! With the help of her own tot, and a very talented friend with power tools, she built this inviting, irresistible treehouse for her daugther’s first bed. Her little one chose the happy colors: bright orange on the outside and robin’s egg blue on the inside. The result is charming – and spider-free. (It’s also tree-free, but who cares!) What an amazing mom – and imagine the bragging rights!
