Excuse me, but when did Bally become so cool? Last time I looked they were verging on geriatric. Now, fully resuscitated and pumped up with current details, that’s all changed. A structured ladylike bag is right on trend, but this bag is more timeless than trendy. And yes, here’s another instance of color-blocking, but again, not trendy-trendy. The colors all work together for impact, yet the perfectly neutral integrity is maintained.
Endearing details elevate a bag to highly covetable. This one comes with the cutest coin purse attached to a chain. It passes my checklist: a perfect not-too-stuffy work bag, cute enough to bring out to dinner, and a great weekend bag. I could see this making a regular appearance for decades. Every panel and stitch is in just the right place. So harmonious and complete – I love it! I’m now a Bally-believer. On Net-a-Porter for $1,395.
Pair with: Who says a blazer needs sleeves? Alexander McQueen’s crepe blazer-vest has the tailoring of a jacket, the comfort of a waistcoat, and the vibe of youthful cheekiness. On Net-a-Porter for $1,595.
This bag is fabulous! Such a classic design, I agree! Who need trendy when you have timeless?
TDF!! Saw this bag on NAP a few days ago, and I took a double take.
