AmorePacific Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Creme

This is kind of embarrassing, but I got a sample of

AmorePacific Rejuvenating Crème ($150) and used it for a good two weeks every night before I realized it was a moisturizer and not just an anti-aging creme! To mine, and the product’s defense, my skin was super dry when I started using it and it wasn’t until the weather loosened up a bit and I didn’t need to apply moisturizer after the Rejuvenating Creme that I actually paid closer attention to what I was lathering on my face!

The creme is light in scent and texture so it feels great on skin. I’ve been using it for about five weeks now and as long as the weather isn’t causing my skin to want to crackle it works fine as a double-duty product. For those with oily skin I’d imagine it would work year-round as a double-duty buy. Aside from the weather, the reason I think I sometimes feel the urge to apply a moisturizer on top of it is because there’s a slight tightening effect, which must tie into the anti-aging side of the formulation. Again texture-wise the product is awesome and I’d recommend it for all skin types at night by day however, since it’s not formulated with SPF, I’d only suggest it for those whose skin is on the normal to dry side since you’ll have to lather on additional cream to keep your skin protected.

On a side note, I recently learned that people who protect their skin with UVA/UVB sunblock on a daily basis (which I hope is everyone!), actually NEED to take a Vitamin D supplement since the sunblock blocks Vitamin D absorption. So talk to your doctor if you don’t already take Vitamin D!
