Each of the products have 10 to 14 active ingredients, which may not sound like a lot but it’s actually a ton. In fact the only reason Mama Mio can afford to make their products and sell them at the prices that they do is because they don’t spend any money on advertising. Jump for more on the new products!
The collection includes a moisturizer, an eye serum, a cleanser, a neck and jawline concentrate, and an anti-aging cream. Each of the products were tested on and formulated for all ages, skin types, and ethnicities, the idea being that if you give your skin the right things, it will balance itself out. I tried all of the formulations on my hand at the event and each of them are super-lightweight and fast absorbing, which is key because thick creams will often sit on top of skin and not actually penetrate (which is why you should only apply thin layers of your face creams/serums). The scents of each of the products includes a mix of lavender and chamomile – an instantly soothing combo…it’s like having the effect of drinking a cup of warm tea on your face!
Mama Mio is an awesome brand and one of the few I’ve come to categorically trust. It was created by three women and their philosophy is all about delivering results, but being honest about them. They’re not promising us Anna Hathaway’s skin, but promising us that if we follow the regimen they’ve outlined we can work on getting our best skin…yes, I know, a little cheesy, but I can’t help but love the all-encompassing approach to beauty:)
