This colorblock wedge is one of my favorites I’ve seen so far for the season. Anything woven is a fun summer look and the calfskin and peep toe bring softness to this otherwise edgy sandal.
The richness of the black and brown on the Lanvin Halter Sliced Wedge sandal is just intoxicating. I know it’s not easy to tell from the picture but zoon in a bit and really look at the detail, I just love it. The slice of color on the wedge really stands out like Lady Gaga in a Banana Republic. I could see myself wearing these with some skinnies and a tank on a spring day or vamping them up with something like a pair of short black scalloped shorts and a leather jacket for a night out. These are soft but sexy in a care-free summer way. My only problem with them is their price. Though they are calf skin, I still find the $1,415 price tag steep. Nonetheless, they are fabtastic and you can pick them up at Bergdorf’s.
