For those of you in the market for a saddle bag, it simply must be Henry cuir, by designer Henry Beguelin. No one can do it justice like him; each of his bags is handmade with the saddle-stitching technique (alternating needles every stitch). No bells and whistles; gorgeous leather is the focal point. The signature stitching is minimal on the flap, but lift it up and find two pouch pockets with “T” stitched on them. Perhaps standing for “telephone”? Beguelin has stated that humor is an important aspect to each of his bags. So is practicality, with a wide gusset for maximum storage with minimal profile, and an adjustable strap, lengthening enough to be a cross-body – just in case you are actually getting on a horse. (Hey, you never know.) At Barneys New York for $1,550.
Pair with: Chloé’s draped V-neck jersey jumpsuit has the appeal of a dress and the ease of a short. At Saks Fifth Avenue for $895.
So elegant!!! Really love it!
Beautiful and flawless. It would wear so nicely after daily use.
Hi Kelly and Tina!
I am loving all your bag reviews lately. No offense to the other writers you have but I always look forward to the snobs’ reviews!
This bag shows how simplicity can do the talking

Have been lusting after a Henry Cuir bag…..may have to order this one. Love their Campeche Tall Hobo , but looks a bit ridiculous on my 5’5″ frame.
