I am dying to wear this seriously studded, sharply spiked jacket to a concert so no one will bump in to me. It is, indeed, so fiercely badass that I would advise against wearing it if you are single and hoping to mingle – no one will come near you.
Biker jackets have become closet staples for the fashionable, and not just Harley fanatics, for years now. Burberry’s version takes it to a new level. It must way a ton with all that hardware, but think of it as a workout! No bicep curls at the gym for the girl who hits the street in this number. I have a feeling Lady Gaga would wear it without complaining about the weight (and most likely without pants).
I love the idea of mixing it up with a flirty dress. It would be an unexpected pairing – like ’90s couple mega-femme Stephanie Seymour and leather-loving rocker Axl Rose. Otherwise, you’ll look too biker and not enough chic. On Net-a-Porter
Pair with: A printed cocktail mini dress reminds you’re still a pretty girl: Camilla and Marc’s silk-georgette draped version, in tortoiseshell pattern and muted tones, adds dimension and doesn’t compete with your killer jacket. Net-a-Porter
