I love these little guys. I am a huge fan of unique and different shoes. I like to be a bit different then the average Joe in everything in my life, especially footwear. Though the Maison Martin Margiela booties aren’t insanely high, loud or flashy, they are different.
Being a shoe/boot hybrid, they are casual but chic and have a 3.75″ heel that you could easily wear all day at work. I love the loose fitting canvas shaft. It’s a great laid back edge to the normal tight and neat look short booties usually take.
I mean we don’t always want to look super polished. Sometimes it’s just as fabulous to be a bit undone. Think Blake Livley’s beachy waves, or Nicole Richies hobo-chic style.
So relax, pull on these boots with some skinnies and a white t-shirt and enjoy.
