Structured bags ruled supreme at Jil Sander, a noticeable juxtaposition to the deconstructed shapes and Warholian flashes of colors in the clothes. The bags and clutches, of which there were a smattering of, included stiff envelope handhelds and granny double-handled handbags that were in dark, muted colors that, to be honest, didn’t really pop. Architectural is definitely the best way to describe these bags. They’re for that modernist art gallerist set that likes her vintage Jil Sander and Helmut Lang. What do you think? Snob or Slob?
