The gorgeous Blake Lively attended the Marchesa dinner during New York Fashion Week and don’t be shocked when I say this, but she wore Marchesa. This is the second dress from the Resort 2011 collection Blake has worn and the second dress from the collection that I loved her wearing. I feel like people either love or are annoyed with Blake Lively and her place in the fashion world. Me? I’m a lover. This dress is adorable. The orange looks divine against B’s skin tone, and the fringe detail is so much fun. The beading on the dress is phenomenal, but I might be partial, as I am obsessed with this dress. Along with her signature pose, Blake was sporting nude Christian Louboutin pumps. The fun and flirty feel of this dress just makes me want to go to a party (a Marchesa party) and dance the night away! As long as I had a car to pick me up, because holy cannoli is it cold out!
I think she should have worn orange shoes, like the model. The nude pumps are kinda blah.
