Art, architecture and iconic influences. These were the elements Alejandro Ingelmo sought to infuse for his fall collection of shoes that were, to say the least, powerful. An Ingelmo woman has never been a shy wallflower; certainly in these shoes she stands tall and proud, more comparable to a strong oak but with all the feminine traits attached. Silver, gold, camel and blush tones reigned supreme for fall, where a clever origami-like method of manipulating leather generated a look comparable to a how a shirt collar folds open. Just take one look at the accompanying photos and you’ll see how crazy, sexy, cool they truly are. While 120mm to 140mm heels remain staples, Ingelmo also introduced, for the first time, a flat boot and ballerina pumps.
