Normally, I’d find this bag appealing. The shape is timeless, the solid lock is weighty and it’s certainly plenty roomy. But when it all comes together with this striped print plastered all over, I kind of lose my love for it. This bag is too trendy for my taste; it, like most Prada pieces, are too one-season. I’ve been disappointed with Prada bags for quite some time now. Am I the only one? I long for those bowling bag/doctor’s bag days, when Prada just seemed much more chic yet conservative, unexpected and quirky and discreet to a degree. Now the bags all seem cheap and meant for the beach. This bag may have some initial appeal new, but it looks like it’ll wear quickly. And then what?
