Normally, I’d find this bag appealing. The shape is timeless, the solid lock is weighty and it’s certainly plenty roomy. But when it all comes together with this striped print plastered all over, I kind of lose my love for it. This bag is too trendy for my taste; it, like most Prada pieces, are too one-season. I’ve been disappointed with Prada bags for quite some time now. Am I the only one? I long for those bowling bag/doctor’s bag days, when Prada just seemed much more chic yet conservative, unexpected and quirky and discreet to a degree. Now the bags all seem cheap and meant for the beach. This bag may have some initial appeal new, but it looks like it’ll wear quickly. And then what?

I love it! I think it’s very fresh and crisp looking for the spring. I have noticed a lot of handbag designers are doing the stripe thing for spring.
Love the shape, and the color scheme is nice. Prints and stripes are in… and as far as prints go, this one is good 🙂
Definitely new classic!
I’m on the fence about this one. I like it at first glance, but it seems conflicted…a canvas, nautical-looking style but still has the prominent Prada HW in a totally stand-out color (and the little emblem on the side…two on one bag seems a little desperate). I just couldn’t pay that much for canvas, either. Maybe on last call it might be fun to pick up, but otherwise, I’ll pass on this one.
I like it ! It’s fresh, and at the same time clssic (the shape) and unusual (the stripes).
Jim calls it once again, I agree it’s fresh now but with an expiry date by next year.
