I must give credit where credit is due: Leighton Meester looks beautiful in this dress and cardigan, both from Missoni’s Pre-Fall 2010 collection. The “Gossip Girl” star was every bit her Blair Waldorf alter ego while attending the launch of “Portraits of Hope” art project in Santa Monica. The unique curvilinear pattern of the Missoni knits covers Leighton up a bit and adds some dimension–which is a nice alternative from the second-skin outfits she so often wears on the red carpet. Despite not baring all–when was the last time you saw a starlet cover her arms?–Leighton still looks young, fresh and ladylike with a twist. Complementing the Missoni ensemble was an equally chic bag: Proenza Schouler’s new $1,350 PS1 Keep-All bag.
