If you could see my face, what a story it would tell. I can’t help but grimace at these beaded pumps. Yikes! To a true fashionista who has plenty of cash to burn and isn’t afraid of a one-statement wonder, then this shoe stands a chance of making it to your closet. While I would no doubt agree with you that it verges on being a work of art, I have come to expect more from Mr. Van Noten. His artistry and craft is so methodical and composed that when something like this rolls along, one can’t help but think he looked at this thick-heeled pump and said, “Sequins! Sequins!” Ladies, skip this shoe and use the money toward one of his highly sublime coats.
$815, available at Neiman Marcus
yikes indeed
i would rather buy valentino’s studded kitten heel slingbacks !
i know last season but sooooo pretty with lace !
and not even Anna dello Russo could save this ones or ……………. 🙂
I am such a fan of Dries Van Noten…but I can only say one thing about these: NO!
Not loving these, I’m with you. I’ll keep the money for a more beautiful shoe!
I love this shoe…and it is a piece of art that can be worn with a simple basic color on top. I saw these shoes in the March Spring 2011 issue of IN STYLE magazine!!! They look absolutely gorgeous! I don’t even like wearing sequins, but these shoes are great!!
