Soft and hard has never come together so beautifully and harmoniously. This box clutch with the finger duster hardware has reached iconic status for good reason (although someone was stopped by the TSA with this because it was deemed a “weapon”!!) but in this soft feminine lace it is perfectly fitting for the modern woman who wants to look girly but is actually tough as nails. Or maybe just wants to look as if she is tough as nails. I always overestimate my toughness and think I can handle anything, that is, until I can’t, which is often. I’m a Pisces so I’m super sensitive. Maybe that’s why this clutch speaks to me in such a personal way, it’s the perfect balance between my inner perception of myself and my actual self. And aren’t those always the most gratifying purchases, the ones that are completely emotional? At Bergdorf Goodman for $2295.

I am not really into clutches. But this one is very pretty. I thought that I would grow weary of seeing this from Alexander McQueen, but it’s too pretty for words.
