The Villador Boy Satchel is your perfect in between bag. It is sort-of a clutch but can also be a shoulder bag. This means it is a Slutch.
This slutch can be worn by day while shopping for lemons at the nearest farmers market while walking your dog Bubbles, or by night after you have used said lemons in a vodka wine spritzer and now you feel like dancing till dawn.
I enjoy this bag. It is versatile, not huge, but big enough for the essentials. It also has the essential inner little zipper pocket that is imperative if you are going to wear this out anywhere because it keeps your credit cards and ID safely out of the hands of pick-pocket-ors, muggers, or your bartender after you dump your bag on the floor looking for your cell phone to call for a ride home because, turns out, vodka and wine are a deadly combination.
To sum up- the bag is cute, you will get a lot of use out of it, the bow is sweet as can be and you can swipe it at Luisaviaroma for $897.60
I know this is immature but maybe you should find a less suspicious term than “slutch” *hinteddy hint hint*
..right with you Phoebe 😉
Usually not a fan of bows (and there seems to be plenty of them recently)… but I could see this as very versatile in the spring.
This is really ugly and terrible colours. Agree with above that the term needs work.
Thought about it ladies, but the Clouder bag sounded like a disease. Slutch is more fun. Don’t worry, it’s not being patented anywhere.
Not good. The bag is too busy. I would like it more if the bow were off. And, this is saying alot because I love bow on bags.
Perhaps a fine print footnote will suffice: “Like other handbag types, the term ‘slutch’ is not intended to reflect the personality of it’s carrier. However, if you pride yourself on the ability to come through with winning plays in tight situations, you still may refer to yourself by the related term ‘clutch’, if that is your handbag of preference.”
