I never paid much attention to Michelle Williams, but she’s growing on me since I caught her on Charlie Rose the other night to promote Blue Valentine. She has this demure, old Hollywood, very lady-like demeanor when she speaks that has me re-thinking the “awkward box” I always put her in. In fact, usually when I see her on the red carpet she makes me think that she’s one of the few actresses that could make Katie Holmes look relaxed! It’s too bad that she never really seems at ease or happy on the red carpet because she tends to make interesting fashion choices. She looks adorable at the Blue Valentine screening above in a white strapless Dior dress, which she paired with Kwiat deco and vintage jewelry. The bracelet retails for around $30,000 and the ring is priced at $5,000. Seriously, if only someone would teach Michelle how to stand-up a little straighter and smile a little more! I would have also liked to see her wear a necklace that coordinated with the bracelet to give her look more life, especially since the bracelet is so understated and beautiful.
