Tiffany’s isn’t the only jeweler that’s getting some TV time, courtesy “Gossip Girl.” Blake Lively was recently seen toting around Cartier’s new Classic Feminine handbag. A limited edition version of a new style introduced into the Cartier leathergoods range, Blake’s sporting the large zebra furry calfskin model, with a flap in brown ebony calfskin and elaphe. A quick look and it’s a simplistic style: a top handle with a removable shoulder strap make it versatile, while a flat pocket in the back allows for quick storage. To protect its façade, four square metallic studs serve as feet. Inside, it’s plenty roomy: one large protective flap with two closure magnets, two inside compartments, one central zipped pocket and one large cell phone pocket, natch. Overall, it’s a subtle, classic bag that sits on the fence between boring and eye-catching. Either way, it’s the perfect complement to Serena van der Woodsen.
