The MOCA Annual Gala brought out Hollywood’s most fashionable, which isn’t a surprise considering Chanel Fine Jewelry was one of the sponsors. Ginnifer Goodwin wore this stunning Chanel Spring 2011 dress. The pearl and beaded neckline is a stunning detail to the equally exquisite dress that only someone like Ginnifer could pull off. I love that her short hair lets us fully appreciate the dress itself as opposed to having the look be about her. Though the dress is stunning, it is not wearing her. I love the lace detail at the bottom of the skirt, which shows just enough leg to be sexy. Per usual Ginnifer has a tiny smirk on her face, which makes me wonder what she’s always thinking. A mysterious woman in Chanel just seems so right- which is why I could never pull this off. I have no mystery (Thanks Twitter addiction.) and I can’t do a close-mouth smile. But you know, if Karl wanted to loan me Chanel I am pretty sure I could make it work. Obviously.
Kirsten Dunst also gives us a classic black and white look from Chanel, this time from the Resort 2011 collection. I adore flowy white gowns (hint hint boyfriend. Just kidding. Or am I? No pressure. Oh I’m kidding! Seriously. I am kidding because I would wear Oscar. Well, unless Chanel would make me a couture dress, but I digress.) and Kirsten’s gown is stunning. It very much fits her personality.
