Dries Van Noten Black Leather Embellished Clutch

Dries Van Noten has an entire collection of vintage inspired embellished accessories this season (shoes are not as amazing at this bag!!). The vintage look is very authentic, sometimes it can come off as cheesy when done with too much flash. But here snaps, chains and beads come together in a fantastically intricate design that oddly does not scream out at you. The texture of the croc stamped leather is an important element here, plain leather would flatten out the effect and make this less sophisticated. It is incredible as a clutch (and a more modern way to wear it) but the chain shoulder strap gives it the feel of a true lady’s handbag from years past.
