A very good friend of mine works with Refugees International and told me about a wonderful initiative that they’ve currently got going on. Supported by Sam Waterston (pictured above with Jodi Hanson Bond), for every $100 donated to Refugees International by December 14 you get a silver bracelet. Sure they’re not particularly fashion forward, but they bare with them a powerful message of hope and support for refugees across the world. The sterling silver cuffs are engraved with the words “SPEAK OUT, SAVE LIVES,” to tie into the organization’s mission.
