Designer Mirit Weinstock, who’s already known for her dresses with breathtaking back details, romantic ruffles, and whimsical ethereal satin and silk looks in bright colors, just had her first ever trunk show during New York Fashion Week. She showcased a Spring 2011 collection at Mina on Cooper St. in Manhattan last week.

There, the designer who once worked with Alber Elbaz and Alexander McQueen, showcased the items from her line that are getting the most attention–her capricious badminton feather necklaces. The reconstructed shuttlecocks are fastened with a black satin ribbon and Swarovski crystals inset into the gold chain to add high-fashion glam.

Aside from the group she showcased, one can now shop for some of her other newest necklaces on her official website. We’re already fascinated by her printed flowers necklace and the kabuki-style gold plated hair clip. Her pom pom necklace is cute, colorful and playful and her new style of feather necklaces, shaped like bows and easily clipped to a dress like a brogue are utterly delightful.
