In Europe you see spray deodorants all over the place, but here in the States you rarely see them. I’m not sure if this disparity has more to do with FDA regulations or people’s preferences, but I for one am a big fan of sprays – so much more sanitary! I ran out of my Allure Deodorant Spray which I picked up on my last trip to Munich and when I couldn’t find it, or any other comparable spray, in the city I opted to try out Lavanila’s The Healthy Deodorant (the only thing I could find in regards to the Allure was the stick version, which I didn’t find to be potent enough for day-to-day use). Lavanila appealed to me because of their awesome scent choices (Vanilla Lavender, Pure Vanilla, Vanilla Grapefruit, and Vanilla Coconut). Vanilla is one of my favorite fragrance notes, but it can often have an overly-strong, artificial smell – Lavanila’s products have none of that (and I’ve tried a few). It’s not a perfect alternative to my spray, but in terms of complementing my perfume and giving odor protection it delivers. It also has the added bonus of having a heck of a lot less harsh chemicals than my Allure spray! It’s 100% natural and packed with vitamins, botanicals, and essential oils.
