The romantic comedy addict has been spotted numerous times with her Valentino Leopard Hair Bow Tote, and I can see why she’s such a fan.
The leopard pattern is printed perfectly on calf hair with accents of gold hardware with short brown leather straps and a magnetic snap top. I love a good animal print as it is, but I feel like this one especially seems to pounce of the page and claw me, asking me to take it home. With such fine detail to a bag with such a bright leopard coloring that it nearly matches Hiegl’s orange hair, what is there not to like?
Well I’m glad you asked actually, because I do have one complaint….Hint; It starts with a “B” and ends with an “ow”.
That giant bow on the side of the bag takes the look from “I’m carrying a bag that could eat you” to “Hey look what I found in my kid’s closet- kinda cute, no?”
I think if you are going to have a fierce statement piece like a big leather tote- let it be hard and dangerous. Don’t water it down with cute. Don’t get me wrong, bows are the bomb dot com. I like bows in my hair, on my shoes, on my dogs, hell, even on some bags, but not this one.
But if bows are your thing, you can grab this bag at Bergdorf Goodman for $2,990
Oh see, I am totally a bow girl. Granted I’m not going to carry a Juicy Couture bag with a trillion bows all over it, but I would give this a shot. And by “shot” I mean please tell someone to send this to me now.
Cute write up!
Haha. I know, some people feel about bows the way I feel about rainbow sprinkles. Good on anything, and somehow makes things more delicious.
Leopard print. Bows. Large tote. Count me in! Sweet and edgy all at the same time.
I just love it. The bow makes the bag much more interesting and edgy. Cute. Just the price is a big ouch. I gotta check my lotery tickets LOL.
