I am making no comments about Jesus one way or another, it is my job to bring you interesting bags that you might not have seen. And this one is definitely interesting. These are really beautifully simple clutches with quite a brutal (and giant!) interpretation of Jesus on the cross. This isn’t pretty Jesus with long flowing hair, this is starved and suffering Jesus complete with details of nails in his hands and feet. I asked the designer if he is religious and he said he is not – it is meant to go either way, to be ironic (as Madonna did) or devout (I can’t image anyone doing that, my mother-in-law is a devout Catholic and if she saw this she would be mortified). Madonna was seen with this bag but of course that makes perfect sense. The brand is also doing a day bag for Spring with straps made of rosary beads. I wonder what happens when the novelty wears off, with a name like Our Lord & Savior, it is kinda difficult to diversify. By special orders only, for price and purchasing contact Jason.
