Ok, ok I know: some of you may not be the biggest fans of UGG boots. In fact, they might even gross you out (as multiple message boards would indicate). But this is Shoe Snob, and as much as you may like or dislike these shearling boots, you know you’re curious about them to some degree.
Last night, during Fashion’s Night Out, Jimmy Choo previewed its UGG collection. My verdict? They’re not half bad. Decorated with grommets and stars, they’re clearly for a trendy fashionista type–but before you go spewing “Jersey Shore” jokes, there’s definitely a sense of wearability to them. My favorites are probably the two boots that feature just adornment at the top (the tall one, incidentally, is a Jimmy Choo boutique exclusive). They can be worn everyday and look just like regular boots with a smidget of extra decoration. The leopard UGG boot is also terribly cute; it’ll look quite cozy and at home this winter from Aspen to Gstaad.
