Considering that the Brazilian bombshell rarely makes red carpet appearances these days, it was a true va-va-voom moment when Gisele arrived at the American Museum of Natural History to attend the United Nations MDG Summit gala. And her choice of frock and accessories? None other than Balenciaga, natch. Paired with her Balenciaga.Edition Hiver 1964 “Cloque de Soie” dress were fall brass “Petal” collection pieces in the form of a necklace and bracelet. It’s a more conservative cut for Gisele–but then again she is at a serious event empowering women (translation: Versace minis need not apply). But I love that she chose to have a white moment while keeping her shoes subtle and her hair down and beautifully coiffed. The gentle swoop of fabric draped across the back of her dress adds an extra dose of dimension to the otherwise straightforward LWD and further elongates her already statuesque build. All in all, a ladylike moment that only Gisele is capable of achieving!
Between all the purposes of Balenciaga she chose the most simplya nd patetic dress…. Oh my god!!
