Emilio de la Morena Silk Dress

I’m fascinated by this Emilio de la Morena Silk Dress ($1,713), because I can’t decide whether I think it’s Snob or Slob! The detailing is stunning, but is it too much? There’s also something that looks a bit shrunken about the dress, like perhaps it would be better suited for a fashion-forward tot (albeit a very stylish tot). I’m also not in love with this particular shade of blue, which could make someone with anything other than olive skin look a bit pasty. I think had this dress been made in a nude done it would have been incredibly sexy. I blame the sheer panels for throwing me off though. I think the dress would be a lot better were they not there (ie just exposed skin), and had the mini been just a little less “mini.”
