Remember that fabulous swimming ladies print Carolina Herrera did a few seasons ago that was featured on Jennifer Lopez on the January 2008 cover of Vogue? I’ve also said it and I’ll say it again: no one does grosgrain, or a print for that matter, like Mrs. Herrera. To wit, take Christina Hendricks. The “Mad Men” star took a break from her body-conscious red carpet moments of late and donned a Herrera dress for the L.A. premiere of “Devil.” I don’t think she has ever looked better! I love that, while it’s a busy print, it works on Hendricks’ fuller frame. Her red hair beautifully complements the dress’ tango dancer print silk crepe de chine and the way it cascades flatters her figure. One of the first things you notice about Hendricks is her chest; this dress very cleverly minimizes the overexposure while the cap sleeves instantly elongate her arms. Two thumbs up!
