What sets this line apart is that it was designed to slow the aging process of hair, helping it stay healthier, while enabling it to grow longer and reducing split ends – hence the name of the brand. The products are especially useful for those of us who regular color or get lots of sun exposure. The key ingredient is a complex of naturally derived cashmere proteins and amino acids which mimic the molecular structure of hair, plugging gaps in damaged hair shafts deep down to the core. The three products are all silicones and paraben-free. The line is supposed to add some volume as well, but I’ve been using it for about three week now and haven’t found much extra volume (though that’s lucky for me, because I’m not looking for extra volume on my frizz-prone hair!). The scent is light and the shampoo produces a nice, soft lather (no big suddy mess here). I highlight my hair every three months, am prone to split-ends, and have been in the sun more than usual, so this line is a great fit for me at the moment.
Have you tried any anti-aging hair products?
