Miuccia Prada’s resort offerings never disappoint–and this season was certainly no exception. The sophisticated lineup offered a beautiful collection of dresses that were ruffled and floral printed in bold prints that were a nod to the Thirties. Juxtaposed with these were slick black styles infused with color thanks to bright accessories. As with any form of visual presentation, the background is crucial to its success. At Prada, that meant a postcardlike country setting depicting imaginary landscapes. The bold jewelry is made from methacrylate, a lightweight glasslike material, while shoes–platforms and pumps with faux-coral or beaded embellishments and ankle-tie ballerina flats–and canvas/exotic bags are precisely proper.
