Perfectly timed with Mother Nature’s release of the recent oppressive heat and humidity, Salvatore Ferragamo threw a bash high atop Le Bain at The Standard Hotel Wednesday night to celebrate the launch of its newest fragrance, Attimo.

The women’s perfume, which rolls out at Ferragamo boutiques and Bloomingdale’s on July 23, is named after a memorable Italian moniker that, according to the brand, “communicates the essence of chic.” Judging by the A-list guest list of rich, young Euros–Stavros Niarcos, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld, style icon Giovanna Battaglia, Dree Hemingway, Gaia Repossi and Chiara Clemente–Ferragamo is clearly aiming this scent at a more youthful demographic (Dree Hemingway, one of the evening’s hosts, also stars in the campaign shot by Craig McDean).

Agyness Deyn, sporting a new buzz cut, had just arrived in Manhattan, and was eager to check out the party’s venue–and show her Patriotism. “The first thing I did was go to a salon and get my nails done,” she laughed, extending her fingertips to reveal nails painted with the American flag in advance of the forthcoming July 4th holiday weekend. “They almost refused to do my nails because they were so short!”

Having taken over both floors of the new hotspot, the several hundred invitees had the option of either a dance party bash downstairs in the pool room, where DJ Kiss spun tunes all night, or relax upstairs on a series of water beds and leather couches taking in the expansive views. It was the latter where Ferragamo designer Massimiliano Giornetti mingled with Victoria and Vanessa Traina, Irina Lazareanu Tabitha Simmons and legal correspondent Dan Abrams as they sipped specialty “Penny Drop” and “The Instant” cocktails. An interactive experience came courtesy of photographer Patrick McMullan, who coaxed the PYTs onto a water bed to re-create their own Attimo ad campaign moment.

As the Ferragamo bash wound down and the revelers continued their partying by walking a few hundred yards to the Boom Boom Room, Giovanna Ferragamo, observing all the youthful revelry, summed it up best: “Style isn’t about age, it’s about attitude.”
