Accessories designers could learn a thing or two from Stella McCartney. Not only does she not use leather in any of her accessories, she manages to make them utterly chic but with a quirky persona that is quintessential Stella. I was over the moon to see that her cult hit Falabella bag–which every stylish girl I know owns–has been refashioned in a lightweight canvas and woven tricot–the latter more often a material used as lining made from natural or synthetic fibers with a unique weave that allows it to be smooth on one side while sporting texture on the other. What’s more, Stella’s taken the overarching design details of the Falabella–the chain straps, coin trinket and overall capacious ideals–and applied them to a clutch, scrunchy sailor’s bag, ladylike day bag and pocket-filled work bag. Which one is your favorite?
