There are countless amazing furniture stores in the NYC area, but my absolute favorite is The Future Perfect. The bi-level Williamsburg shop is stocked with some of the most innovative pieces from world-renowned as well as up-and-coming designers. If you like Moss you’ll LOVE The Future Perfect! Near the register they have small tchotchkes including some jewelry. I spotted this Receipt Necklace ($250), which is a pretty amazing replica of an NYC taxi receipt. My initial reason is that it would make an awesome gift for countless of my friends who always complain about spending 80% of their life sitting in traffic in the backseat of a taxi cab, but why oh why did Kristin Victoria Barron, the designer, opt for a rubberized cord?? It completely cheapens the necklace!
