You must see these in person to appreciate the artistry and beauty. These are made like giant pieces of jewelry. The details are so immaculate – just like their gowns. Very few designers can directly translate their exquisite clothing to exquisite bags, but these girls have done it very very well. The Marchesa Swarovski Clutch for $3475 is a bit too elaborate for me with the fringe drop beads but for a serious event, this is will outshine any bling at a fraction of the price. Given, this is not cheap, but what I mean is, it’s cheaper than a necklace dripping with diamonds. The Marchesa Swarovski Embellished Satin Clutch for $2275 is a bit more restrained but is my favorite of the two. It does sparkle A LOT more in person and that side bow in the front gives it that red carpet stunner they’re known for. Both of these are pretty small and meant to be held just in the palm of your hand. Although these are meant to be worn with gowns, I don’t see why you couldn’t rock this out with torn jeans and a gorgeous blouse. Both are available at Net-a-Porter.
You are right! One of my fav stops at the Vegas WSA show is this showroom! Each bag is ALWAYS a delight to see… true artisan-ship! Speaking of artisan-ship… you may want to take a look at bags that feature fine art on the dressy/casual side of the pyridine….
