In keeping with its tried-and-true motif of rocker-cum-military, Gucci’s cruise accessories collection is decidedly straightforward and, dare I say, simple. The bags are understated and, for the most part, utilitarian. I really started to dislike Gucci’s logo print bags; they had gotten too commonplace and verged on counterfeit. But for cruise, they have this vintage-inspired vibe that I am loving. The tassels paired with the old-school closure hark back to the Hepburn era. And isn’t the simple leather and python clutch unbelievably chic? It has the signature tassel motif, but what I like is the braided leather trim running alongside smooth fold of leather.
