A gorgeous collection–the designer’s largest resort offering to date–of wild animal prints paired with his classic couture touches evident in the giraffe & tiger prints alongside grosgrain, organza and divine eyelet textures. While not as dramatic as the custom gown Iman wore to accept her CFDA Fashion Icon Award last week, the collection was nevertheless ultrafeminine and hardly subdued. Dresses tended on the shorter side, while suiting was tailored to a tee. In essence, this was Valli at his eclectic-cum-elegant best.
