Talk about va-va-voom! I’m not normally a fan of Catherine Zeta-Jones’s style, but she really hit it out of the ballpark Monday night when she donned a lush red Michael Kors dress to attend the Robin Hood Foundation Gala in New York with her husband, Michael Douglas. Maybe I’m a bit biased as I love a well-draped dress day or night, but this Kors draped one shoulder dress, which Zeta-Jones paired with a gold clutch and matching Jimmy Choos, really captures that youthful spirit that she projects. With her alabaster skin and dark, gorgeous hair, the dress pops in such a stunning way (the Kohl-rimmed eyes look divine on her as well). The horizontal ruching that starts at the waist and cascades down (notice the contrasting ruffling of fabric on the side) creates a lengthening proportion on her well-toned frame and adds inches to her height. I also love that she kept her left side “bare,” emphasized all the more so by the side swept hairdo she chose for the occasion. Bravo!
Catherine never seizes to amase me! What a presence!
