Normally, I would be complaining about the giant Ferragamo Gancio hardware on this bag but it is so ingeniously worked in to the design that I am in love. And you thought I was just in love with the python, and in the color du jour, yellow, no less. Designers try so hard to stay true to their signature looks while trying to push the envelope at the same time, which is no easy feat, not that I particularly care or am concerned with how hard their jobs are but when they smash one out of the park, I am impressed and very much inclined to pay them for their efforts. And it’s not just the handle, all the details, like the stitching around the hardware, the python handle and the tab details at the bottom of the bag all contribute to overall sophistication and polish. It is a zip closure which is not only good for security but also to maintain the shape. It comes with a shoulder strap which kind of ruins it for me, but it is removable. At Luisa Via Roma for $4579.
really really cute, iLike it
I’m drooling…WOW!
This purse is showing up as $3500 canadian?
Kelly,
Be sure to check out this style in the python clutch in cherry pink! It is to die for!
I didn’t even notice the Ferragamo logo until you mentioned it. Genius. Beautiful bag, and it’s too bad about price. However, it’s justified given the materials used.
I can’t be the only one who sees a lot of resemblance to Marni’s now iconic balloon bag… I’ll pass
This is fab! Love the yellow color!
