Emmett Cooper Haircare

Emmett Cooper is a line of luxury organic shampoos, conditioners, styling, and finishing products for all hair types. All the products in the line are recyclable, cruelty-free and made with certified organic ingredients, sourced from around the globe. That’s all great of course, but what attracted me to them initially was the simple-chic, Jo Malone-esque packaging (and then secondly the wonderful smells!). We want our products to work – of course – but 75% of why we love them (or at least why I love them), is because they look great in our bathrooms and in the case of hair products because they leave hair smelling wonderfully fresh. I’ve been using Emmett Cooper’s Moisture Wash ($20 for 8oz; $55 for 1 liter) along with their Repair Masque ($12 for 2oz; $26 for 8oz) these last few weeks and both have left my hair smelling so nice that a guy I went out with, who certainly couldn’t care less about hair products and in fact doesn’t even use shampoo (how do guys get away with using just water and soap!? Eww..I just don’t understand!), anyway this beauty product clueless man repeatedly commented on how great my hair smelled. More after the jump!

The Moisture Wash is ideal for me because it’s formulated for those that wash their hair frequently. It’s made with aloe, evening rose, and jasmine which smell wonderful, are moisturizing, and help fight frizz (though I still applied Living Proof and some Moroccan Oil post wash). The Repair Masque

is particularly well-suited for those with dehydrated hair and is formulated with avocado oil, milk proteins, and natto extracts to seal split ends, tame frizz, and restore natural shine.
