Don’t get me wrong I love what Hannah MacGibbon is doing over at Chloe, but I do miss the cheeky-ness of Stella McCartney-designed Chloe. Her use of pineapples, bananas, and melons circa 2002 was so memorable that those pieces are sure to be collector’s items in the coming years (only she could get away with designing a “get your banana out of my melons” shirt for Chloe!). Now McCartney is back with the motif via some PG pieces for her Adidas by Stella McCartney line. I’m loving the Adidas by Stella McCartney Pineapple-Print Cotton Tank ($65) for a beach day. It’s simple, casual, and easy to wear but stands out via a sexy knotted racer-back. This would look great paired with loose-fitting shorts and flats.
Are you as happy as I am to see that McCartney has brought her pineapple motif back?
